Dino’s Git Down 2020 Recap

Posted on November 20, 2020

2020 has definitely been a year we all would like to forget. However, despite the Covid restrictions that have caused many of the year’s shows to get canceled, the 2020 Dino’s Git Down went off without a hitch. This was the 10th anniversary of the show and it was bigger than ever. Almost 100 vendors and thousands of Chevy cars and trucks made the trip to Glendale AZ for the 2 day event. It has been amazing to see this event grow from just a small gathering in the parking lot of Dino’s Appliance Repair to a 2 day event that requires a venue as large as the Westgate to contain the sheer volume of C10’s from all over the United States. Convoys of C10’s rolled in from California, Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia, and Arizona to just name a few.

The C10 group is a very tight nit family so the show was great distraction from the Covid and election craziness. It was a bit tricky sometimes to identify people due to the requirement to be masked up but it was important to follow the rules to make sure the event didn’t get canceled. At the end of the day, everyone was safe and everyone had a great time and that is all that matters.

No one knows what 2021 has in store for us but we do know one thing. The Git Down will be the can’t miss show of the year!
