New Fuel Cleaver Forged 2-pc. Dually
To introduce our latest 2-pc. Forged Dually wheel, the Cleaver, we decided our F-350 Super Duty was due for some upgrades. We reached out to a few manufacturers and local shops to help with various components and installs. First was the 7 inch stage 3 lift kit provided by Icon Vehicle Dynamics, installed by the guys at Socal Super Trucks. The lift turned out great and now drives and performs better than the factory setup. Next stop for the Super Duty was Patrick's Signs where they printed and installed the custom wrap, then off to Shoreline Motoring, where they installed the Addictive Desert Designs "Stealth" bumpers, Fuel Grille, KC Hilites 40" LED Bar, color matching logo's, and tinted tail lights. After a few weeks rolling on our 22" Cast Maverick's (the only cast 22" dually wheel available) the Cleavers were finished up and installed by our friends at Performance Plus in Long Beach, CA. We removed the front adaptors, converting the front axle to 8x170 where we decided to run the 22x12 2 pc. Cleavers and 22x8.25 2 pc. Forged Cleaver dually's in the rear. Both wrapped in our 37x13.50R22 Gripper M/T's. All Fuel Offroad dually wheels are direct bolt without the need for spacers or adaptors, even when running wider tires like our 13.50" wide Gripper M/T's. The outer rear wheel of the 20" and 22" D538 Maverick dually wheels are available in 3 different offsets for stock leveled and large lift kits, allowing for wider off road tires for lifted apps. Our Forged dually wheels are no different, larger deep concave forgings are used to space the rear wheels to fit wider M/T tires used on lifted apps like the ones featured here. All Forged Fuel Offroad wheels are available in any custom finish, but we chose to feature the Cleavers in gloss black and milled, the same finish offered in our 2 pc. cast Cleavers, and soon to be offered in 1 pc. cast.
